This workshop is ideal for beginners who would like to learn the basic concepts of exposure as well as for more experienced photographers to explore creative exposure, lighting techniques and composition.
Photography of Harvest Mice in captivity hit public awareness last year when the BBC Countryfile calendar competition was won with a staged composition. While that was within the competition's rules, and trying to pass off captive subjects as genuine 'in the wild' photographs is absolutely unacceptable, there's a lot to be gained in technique and experience from a studio setting with excellent animal welfare conditions and the creative lighting and exposure techniques that a studio allows can be taken into your non-captive wildlfie photography.
Starting at 09:30 in our studio location close to Berwick-upon Tweed, this workshop will last 7-8hrs and is limited to a maximum of 4 participants so everyone has access to tuition and advice on techniques and camera settings and plenty of space in which to work.
